What an edge of the seat episode this week. Enjoyed seeing Jay Garrick and the hint of the speedster he's training. Also liked how Flash tried to figure his way out of the bomb mess and how the episode only took place in a few seconds in our eyes, but was a very long time for Flash. Liked the scene of Jesse and her dad too. Excellent episode. One of my favorites this season.
Wouldn't it be cool if Jay is training Bart (Impulse)?

I liked seeing Iris as the Flash this week and the "thinking cap" that may be used to take down Davoe. The meta that could swap DNA was interesting.

The Flash is back as we go into the final arc of episodes for this season. Liked Ralph getting some credibility. Finally Davoe's wife discovers he is drugging her. And what is Harry up to in the end scene?

Enjoyed the focus on Ralph and how he saved the day in the end. Davoe's wife...bless her heart, she is just a pawn to him. I wonder if she will play into the finale and help defeat him. I wondered what Harry was doing in the end too. Is the thinking cap causing him to go off the rails?

Gideon which we have not seen since the end of Season One. Which leaves the following questions:
1. Is the thinking cap turning Harry evil?
2. Or has Thawne returned replacing Harry without anyone knowing?
Personally, I think the first is more likely. Thawne/Wells has already returned in Earth X. But when I saw Gideon again it made me wonder. |

Poor Ralph. A lot happened this episode. You can feel the tension rising as we get closer to the season finale.

Excellent episode! I hope what has happened to Ralph isn't permanent. Caitlin seemed kind of sad at the revelation about Killer Frost at the end. I cannot wait to see what they had cooked up for the finale. Loved the fight scene with Mrs. Davoe and Iris. Nice to see his spouse actually do something other than stand around a lab.

Another excellent episode last night. I believe Mrs. Davoe will be the ultimate downfall of the Thinker's plans. She seems like she just wants her husband rather than going through with his crazy plan. Nice to see Wentworth Miller again as well as Katie Cassidy guest starring. The mess with the thinking cap reminds me of Steve Dayton and the Mento helmet (from Doom Patrol and New Teen Titans).

Another excellent episode last night. I believe Mrs. Davoe will be the ultimate downfall of the Thinker's plans. She seems like she just wants her husband rather than going through with his crazy plan. Nice to see Wentworth Miller again as well as Katie Cassidy guest starring. The mess with the thinking cap reminds me of Steve Dayton and the Mento helmet (from Doom Patrol and New Teen Titans). This series is still my favorite comic book based series on TV right now. It rarely has a bad episode. And this year has been top notch with the Thinker. I really miss Ralph as he brought some levity to the show. And my heart breaks for Harry as he loses his intellect. I even feel sorry for Davoe's wife. The actor that plays Davoe is awesome. |

It was great seeing Katie Cassidy on the Flash but I'm at the same time thinking, we already have an "Evil Laurel" from Earth 2 in the Arrowverse and now we have another one from Earth X...... The only twist left that would be interesting is if the 2 Laurels met and teamed up to cause chaos on Earth 1. I would love to see Katie Cassidy carry on a conversation with herself. LOL

And another great episode. Cisco & Gypsy. Harry losing his intelligence. The flashbacks into the Davoes past. And it looks more & more like Davoe will be defeated by his wife turning against him...
