It was incredible show and I was so relieved that the opening show start out with a bang and I was chuckling when Barry accidentally ran into Starling City and met the ARROW/Green Arrow and both had a few pleasant exchanges and the last words out of their mouth was "Cool" ... Man, I loved the special effects, the photography, and the acting was rather excellent I say. Man, I'm hooked ... Bring on the next show! Flash First Show NotesFrom TV FANATIC

My first impression of The Flash pilot is that it's more Smallville than Arrow. I didn't mind the costume when they debuted it months ago but now I'm really hoping they update it with less muted colors. Loved the Grodd easter egg. Not a fan of the Geoff Johns origin but I do like Professor Zoom. The CGI used in the bank scene when the stained glass ceiling shattered wasn't great. Honestly prefer the Rogue's powers based on technology. I do kind of like that Barry has team Flash as support at S.T.A.R. Labs. Probably the best scene is when Ollie shows up and CW spoiled that months ago. That last scene was interesting and unexpected.

Thought it was ok. Room to grow and improve. Bad some bright spots and some bumps. Not great. Not horrible.

My favorite part was where Flash said, "Cool!" in reflection of Arrow's abilities, followed by Arrow saying the same thing about the Flash...
...followed by ME saying the same thing about the whole scene!

Very good start, I may be in for the long haul on this one. Mr. Gustin did a very credible job and the future villains look good too. I did freak out a bit at the Eddie/ Iris pairing, but I can't tell most people why because it may be a huge spoiler.
I'm shocked it got a higher rating last night than Agents of SHIELD, but that is probably because it's a premiere.

The show has definitely started off in a good direction...but you also have to remember while watching these shows they will pick and choose the bits of the actual comic book history to put in(not pull direction from it) while maintaining their own modern spin on the characters and show.

I saw it tonight on Hulu and I enjoyed it. I like that it's not so serious or brooding -- a fun superhero show, who would have thought?. In fact, I feel like the tone of The Flash aligns more closely with what we've seen from Marvel and their TV/film adaptations vs. DC's. My biggest request for the show right now is that it doesn't go the predictable route of having a "villain of the week" like Smallville did. I'm probably asking for too much, seeing as how that one scene mapping the dispersal of the particle accelerator energy is practically setting up a VOTW theme... but one can always hope.

I thought the show was pretty awesome. As much as I love Arrow, this was like its bright counterpart. The Flash is off to a good start IMO.

Episode 2 "Fastest Man Alive" was decent. Starting to actually like Grant Gustin as Barry in this episode. The treadmill scene was kind of funny. Pretty cool showing of Multiplex's powers. I like Detective West being part of the S.T.A.R. Labs team. The final fight scene definitely reminded me of the Neo vs Smith fight in Matrix Reloaded. I wasn't expecting them to kill off Danton Black. They need to build up the rogue gallery as reoccurring villains. Speaking of villains Tom Cavanagh is doing a good job as Dr. Wells.
