MechaGodzilla
The giant War Wheel has to be one of the most recognizable and classic concepts ever and all the various covers derived from it alone could likely make a contest in and of itself. And how do you get away from a giant rolling metal wheel of death that crushes all in its pathway besides diving into a swamp or lake?

MDG for the Flinstones/World's Fair cover. Talk about improbable. first, even if a pterodactyl could lift all of them, how does it do it from a y-bar in the back, the center of gravity would tip them all over. And what does Fred's steering wheel do anyway. I also love seeing the World's Fair again.

Crimebuster There were a couple of other Airboy covers that I thought qualified and wanted to share.

tarkintino...my first thought when seeing the contest was the Spider-mobile.
Runner-up would be the Captain.

Whoever wins this contest, I think this particular topic requires a "sequel". Improbable Vehicles: The Sequel needs to happen.
This particular topic was easy, I could quite easily have shared 20 or more improbable vehicles. Also saw some great covers here that I hadn't seen before.

Crimebuster gets my vote for offering us Robin's bicycle-powered mini-zeppelin--a not only improbable, but downright foolhardy vehicle in which to approach gun-wielding thugs.
This week's could easily have been an all-Blackhawk cover contest. That was their stock in trade for years, riding Mechanix Illustrated's tailwinds.

crimebuster for all the reasons mw@mwgallahermentioned plus I am partial to Star Spangled and the Robin solo strip.
Way too many great covers here. We could have narrowed it down by artist, title, decade, whatever, and still had a great contest and a tough choice!
