Hey Cei-U! , Hows the participation in the TDOCC this year ? Seems like it's down from last year. You're not wrong. We have 24 participants so far this year, down from 29 last year and 30 the year prior (I think we peaked at 34 back in the CBR days but I don't have those stats). Some of our usual participants (looking at you, Rob Allen) are MIA for reasons unknown); others, like Dan Baily and Jezebel, no longer post here.

I'm kinda surprised by, and pleased to see, all the love that Marvel Team-Up #79 featuring Spider-Man and Red Sonja/Mary Jane is getting in this event. I've owned the issue since I was a kid and it's an enjoyable enough adventure, but personally, I never considered it a contender for my 12. I had no idea that it was held in such high regard by some members here. It barely missed making my list. I think I had it at #14.

Does Holly Quinn and Poison IVY qualify for the teaming?
Will Silver Surfer and Golden Glider make the cut?
Will Iceman and Jan the Wonder Twin team-up to create Frosty the Snowman?
How about Rudolph and Jana the Wonder Twin in a reindeer showdown supreme?
There has to be Hanna Barbera Monkey throw-down between Magilla Gorilla, Great Ape, Blip and Gleek somewhere!

This has been a weird TDCC for me this year. My last two picks were just swapped in at the last minute and were totally not on my preliminary picks. I think my last two choices will stay as they are.

I have my final two choices written up and am ready to roll. I wish I could say I enjoyed this years TDOCC like past years, but too much work kind of made it an afterthought. Thanks for doing this , Cei-U! . |

I've enjoyed seeing people's choices immensely. I've liked as many posts as possible. ALL choices are good and valid, but on occasion, I have viewed this forum on my mobile phone (I don't tend to log in while on a phone as it takes forever for my male thumbs to enter usernames/passwords). So while viewing some of CCF on my mobile phone, I haven't been able to like certain posts. But I like them in spirit. And have tried to go back and like some, but I may have missed a few.
Great choices by everyone!
And, personally, I am ecstatic to see that DC Comics Presents has been on other people's lists!
