I thought you tried actual chocolate coffee. Not chocolate that you placed INTO coffee yourself. But that sounds great as well. I need to just buy some flavored creamers. I need to just do it. I always see them at the store and think about it, but I always decide against it because I think I won't like it. That's on my list! I'm absolutely positive it exists!! And when I do, I'll let you know! And it is great! I say try it! I'm like that too. I went years with plain coffee because I was always afraid of not liking it and then it's a waste, but I one day decided: let's do this and I haven't regretted it yet. Another good idea: in some gas stations, they have those little packs of liquid creamer of various flavors. If you buy a cup there and use those, it would be cheaper than buying a whole bottle and hating it. One cup versus a whole bottle, but that's just what I've tried!

For the benefit of our resident banana-hating duck...I just noticed my wife bought banana and dark chocolate flavored Greek yogurt when last at the market. I'll save you one if you're interested...

Last week my wife bought dark chocolate cream cheese with no plans of what to use it on, so I'm going to make sure she doesn't see this....

I tried chocolate coffee today and it was perfect! I recommend this to the chocolate fans out there! Which brand do you recommend?? Coffee AND chocolate. Sounds like a perfect morning mixture to me! I only drink it in frappucino form, of course, but for ages I used Hershey's or store-brand chocolate syrup. Have used strictly Hershey's caramel for probably at least a couple of years now, though. Good thing about chocolate as opposed to caramel, though, is that the former lends itself to added flavorings, like peppermint or almond. Hmmm ...

I've found the only good use for those Christmas candy canes is to stir it into hot chocolate and let it flavor the brew as it melts in. Mmmm chocolate peppermint. -M

Not a fan of hard peppermint candy at all, for some reason, though I really like the crumbly old-fashioned kind, as well as peppermint chews & taffy, cake icing, ice cream (when I could eat it, of course), etc.

Can't speak to the other stuff, but the cream cheese was one of those spreadable tubs from Philadelphia Cream Cheese, shelved with all the other flavored varieties they put out. Salmon & pineapple are particularly good.

Mmmm chocolate peppermint. -M Definitely the best thing to use to stir your hot chocolate. May have to look into that this weekend, since we are continuing to be in 20-30 degree Fahrenheit range for the next week. A full month early for these temperatures here.
