I know that this thread is anti-bananas but I have to share that I have to start adding bananas to my diet.

I know that this thread is anti-bananas No, no, no, there's a separate thread for that, the poor souls. Sorry, but the official thread title is "The coffee (and bananas) thread" so anti-banana rants are acceptable. Technically, pro-banana rants would be allowed too (mrp, I'm looking at you), though I can't understand why anyone would want to.
The other banana thread is for anti-banana rabble rousing. As the song says, "someone's got to raise some hell, it might as well be me".

Ugh, so disappointed. There was a Dunkin Donuts right by my house that went out of business not so long ago. No great loss since it was one of three on my way to work, and I'm not especially fond of DD, anyway, but it was a convenient location compared to others regarding my commute. Anyway, I recently saw that renovations started on the space and a new drive-thru coffee and breakfast place was going to replace it, so I was stoked! Maybe it would be better than DD, more convenient than the Starbucks, and maybe if I am super lucky, it will even be on par with the locally-owned mom-and-pop shop that is too far out of the way for me to get to regularly.
Well, they opened, and I went there, and alas...the coffee sucks. Sigh.

I'll be up late tonight, long weekend and 2 airport runs.
My miserable excuse of a friend aka comic-dealer just dropped of some new books, and what did I see? A movie... I Spit On Your Grave 3! Apparently a third film was released this year.
I'll need a coffee to watch that. Once the kids are asleep.

Thanks to my father in law's wife both my boys come back from Christmas with a taste for coffee with sugar and heavy whooping cream. Ick. What revolting idea-r as Bugs would say. It's like a hot sweet milkshake.
