So then boys and girls, everybody loves them some GIANT ROBOT's do they not? A commonplace staple among Anime and Science Fiction and movies and cartoons, these great big fighting machines are visually stunning and delightful machines. As many might attest it may be quite difficult to choosing just ONE giant mecha marauder as a favorite, so let's liven it up by saying you have to choose your top 5 Masters of Metal!!!

Macross/Robotech Veritechs
Voltron
Frankenstein Jr.
MechaGodzilla
Raydeen of Shogun Warriors

I grew up in love with giant robots ever since seeing Frankenstein Jr and MechaGodzilla (likely the 1st 2 I ever knew of) on television as a child. So as I grew older and learned there was tons of metal giants out there to read, watch and enjoy I became a happy camper. My 1st spot goes to the Macross/Robotech Veritech transforming Valkyrie fighters going from Jets to Robot and in-between as they fight the Zentraidi. 2nd up is the giant Lion King, Voltron himself. 3rd comes everyone's favorite Frankie Jr! 4th is the strong and quiet monster fighter you can't just keep down: MechaGodizlla. Finally I choose the Japanese Ronin: Raydeen of the Shogun Warriors!
And a final shout out as runner up for ANY/ALL of the Transformers as they have such variously cool designs and characters from Optimus Prime to Megatron to Starscream to Dinobots to combining bots like Protectabots, Combaticons, Constructicons, Devastator, Predaking and on to Unicron the world destroyer.
