I had forgotten that the 40s Aquaman had yellow gloves and really big fins on the back of his legs. Did Kenner's Super Powers version of the character have exactly the same? Hmm, I'll head off to Google to check... |

DC ComicsSource Picture  Panels of Interest The link contains this picture and this picture can be found in Justice League of America #14   When, I changed my old Atom picture ... I remember him joining the Justice League of America #14 and thought about using the glass bowling ball and that picture did not look good at all; then him sitting in that miniature chair for the 1st time and that's was a failure too. Then, I tried the one that Flash gave him the "tools" to communicate with other members of the Justice League and that picture was a perfect fit. It took me about 15-20 minutes to decide that and wanted that picture to be used and its indicates action and it's a perfect picture because Flash and The Atom became fast friends and often they work together ... side by side. The Atom is one of the most resourceful hero around, full of knowledge, a good team player, and most of all ... he uses his size to his advantage. The World's Smallest Superhero!  5 down, and 95 to Go.

DC ComicsSource Picture  Writeups OrgBatman 139 gave me the inspiration and the picture from Writeups helps me to choose the picture that I wanted to use for my avatar.  She is another favorite and I liked the dynamics of her working with Kathy Kane her aunt as Batwoman thus creating the female version of the Dynamic Duo and they indeed worked together just as good as Bruce (Batman) Wayne and Dick (Robin) Grayson. I read a lot of Batman stories featuring her and I adore the tease that brings upon to Robin with a touch of romance too.   Here's a couple of good examples here from the romance angle.  I tried to use this picture but the blonde portion of her hair did not suit me well and doesn't matter how many times that I tried to crop it ... its did not do any justice to it and the window portion (the light brown and white) of this picture did not suit me well and that's made it hard for me to give it up. Writeup picture was a gem to work with and shows dynamics and that's why ... I picked this picture below ... 6 down, and 94 to go ...

I liked seeing Bat-Girl, though I haven't really seen many comics with her. The first time I saw her was in an issue of Batman Family.

I also liked the Bette Kane Bat-Girl. I know this isn't true but I picture her as the Earth 2 Bat-Girl.

DC ComicsSource Picture  This picture served as an inspiration to be used for my avatar and it was from Detective Comics #359 ... However, I could not use this picture because of the horrible use of word text and found an alternate that I can use and this picture below was more favorable for me to use.  I found that picture in the internet 7 years ago and kept a copy of it in my folder for future use. It was one of the first one that I used for this purpose.  It's a no-brainer to use this picture!  My favorite panel in Detective Comics #359. She was a great asset to the Dynamic Duo and one of the most exciting superheroine that embraced the DC Universe. Smart, Talented, and Ready to Roll ... Barbara Gordon, it would be shocking if Commissioner Gordon find out that she is BATGIRL! 7 down, and 93 to go.

Yvonne Craig as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl Who ever designed her costume must have used Detective Comics #359 as source of inspiration! ... Her Costume is Spot On!

Yvonne Craig as Batgirl was my first crush!
Also, I love the purple & yellow combination in that outfit. I know she didn't wear purple in the comics, but I like the look.

One of my favorite Superhero and been around for ages; and Adam West ... is my favorite Batman on TV and in Movies and one of founding member of the Justice League of America.   I have a copy of this Life Magazine and I wanted Adam to sign it ... and didn't do that! Met him 5 times in my life and he was a pleasure to be with and a honored friend. 8 down, and 92 to go!

For me, and I like her, it's a shame she was added to what is the weakest season, most of the episodes lacking cliffhangers. And with poor villains.
Just imagine her in the first two seasons - or with her own show.
