I always love inside baseball moments in comics so I was really interested in Stan's insight on lettering his own art( and a great example of him doing it:
on types of ink he uses
Aside from keeping busy with my Usagi Yojimbo series, you can find me polishing up my lettering skills from time to time. I typically use Aames Lettering Guide set at 3.25 and Rotring Sketch Pens with M or B nibs, but rather than using the cartridges they come with, I like to use an ink adapter to use my own ink.
I use Platinum Carbon black which I order from Japan. Jet Pens sells it in the US, but it is a bit more expensive through them.
