Has anyone else noticed that you can resize the images within your post? So far I've noticed this ability is only available when using Firefox and not when using Chrome/SRWare Iron. Also it only works on embedded images but not attachments. I'm wondering if any other browsers support it. By clicking on the image in your post in preview mode it enables a free transform box similar to that found in Photoshop. By grabbing anyone of the boxes that appear in the corners of the image you can shrink or enlarge the picture. It also shows you the image dimensions as you do so. I prefer this to the horizontal scrollbar that appears when images exceed the width of the forum.

Thanks for bringing this up. I hadn't noticed this, but I like to post images a lot and maybe I can try it out next time I post something.

News to me, as I use Chrome. Good to know, though. Thanks!

Yes! Now, I don't have to re-size from my computer and deal with copies of images! Thanks for sharing!

Can someone walk me through this now? My main browser is Firefox, and I can't get it to do what Jesse's post above said it should do - but I'd really like to know how to resize images in posts...

Unfortunately, this is out of my league, as I'm a loyal chrome user. Considering the OP is half a decade old, it's possible this function is no longer available.

I used to able to resize but that's been gone for a while now unfortunately.

I usually use Imgur beforehand to resize images, but sometimes it's faster for me to just switch to my post's BBCode view, then find the image's max-width, and change the 100% to another, smaller number such as 90% , 80%, etc.
img src="https://i.imgur.com/0Vkgndo.jpg?1" style="max-width:100%;
to make the image smaller, I just change the 100 to 80 (for example)
img src="https://i.imgur.com/0Vkgndo.jpg?1" style="max-width:80%;

Thanks for that Farrar. Makes total sense. I hadn't thought of it that way before.
