Batsywatsy, by a round-robin best 3 out of 5 coin toss over Prince Hal and @bert . Actually a great bunch of covers overall yet again. This is about the 3rd week in a row where my decision was really torn.

Congrats mrp, that is great Kaluta work. I never begrudge not winning, but I can't believe one of Neal Adam's most iconic Batman covers did not get a vote. The voting public is so fickle.

10 years ago when I was super into Neal, I would have been all over it. Times have changed though...do others do this? Get on an artist kick for a period of time, collecting and reading and then move on? I find I am like that all the time, currently eating up golden age and bronze age stuff.

Someone definitely needed killin' in this one. There are two aces of spades on the table. And let me just say that if you're doing anything with poker, writing or art, and a royal flush shows up...you're incredibly lazy and should be fired.

Not so much as moving on because I am bored with them, but find another artist to also be interested in. I don't think I loose my love for these artists.

If my other cover had been rejected I would have gone with this: and here's one for the western lovers:

I just remembered this one (though the Toys R Us logo doesn't do the design any favors)

I considered this one. I like the bland expression on the face of the winged ghoul. I suspect they are playing Mille Bones .

Thanks for the votes all, and great covers for everyone. I just saw I won, as I never got a PM, so it will be a minute or two before I have a new contest up.
