Oh, I don't know. It seems like the other vegetables have a pretty good batting average under those criteria, esp. since, as I understand it, those who partake consider the best vodkas those made from grains, like wheat or corn. So you could say "Corn makes bread, tortillas (tacos, mmmm, tacos), chips and vodka" or "Wheat makes bread, cakes, crackers and vodka" and so forth.

So, Which one in giant creatures? Is it Gamera the flying turtle or Godzilla the giant atomic breath lizard? Both capable of mass destruction while fighting other giant beasties which one reigns supreme in battle for you?
The G-man Zilla is my favored Kaiju as I knew him 1st and instantly rampaged his way into my brain and heart. Any Saturday morning when his movies played on the local station was a welcome indulgence. Add in his amazing array of co-starring monsters as villains or tag team partners and the instant fascination is understandable. He is a one monster wrecking crew of Japan! Greeeeeeyoooooonnnnnnk indeed.

C'mon. That's not even fair. Poor Gamera hasn't got a chance. Those movies were awful...though they make for great MST3K/Rifftrax fodder.
Godzilla is King of the Kaiju.

No opinion. Never got into either of them, but I do agree with Slam that the Gamera movies are fantastic for MST3K and RT to cut up on.
If I HAD to choose, it would be Godzilla, for the simple fact he's not a FRICKIN' TURTLE.

No contest.
Back when I was making cardboard cutouts of famous monsters for my kids, I don't think we even had a Gamera... The poor tortoise couldn't compete with Hedorah and Megalon let alone Godzilla himself!

Which One this morning is the classic enemy of Godzilla you like best? King Ghidorah or Mecha-Godzilla?
As much as they play up Ghidorah as the ultimate cosmic nemesis I have never really gotten it. The super giant robot Mecha-Zilla has a stronger visual design which I like and has more versatility in weaponry and he even disguised himself in having people all believe he was Godzilla in one movie. Add in that i love giant mecha! That gives him the #1 spot for me.

Which One is your Wally West? Kid Flash or Flash? Confused kid or Legacy Adult? No contest for me as his coming of age after Barry Allen's "death" provided exciting stories and character growth for the fastest protege around. So much of the Wally legacy Flash adult is now incorporated into the totality of Flash that his version has by default become more the Flash than Barry originally wad in most people's mind.
Though I will note for Kid Flash that his yellow/red costume was awesome.

Kid Flash. New Teen Titans is one of the main reasons my love of comics didn't die when I became a teen, so to me he will always be part of that classic line-up.

Kid Flash. I wish DC had kept Barry dead, because passing the torch to a new generation is just the way I'd like superhero comics to manage their decades-long history, but since I started reading a long time ago, Wally was primarily Kid Flash to me.

I kind of bridge the gap on him, so to the extent I care about characters at all (which isn't much) I'm fine with either. He was Kid Flash when I was a kid. He became Flash about the time I went to college.
Unlike Geoff Johns I don't have to have everything the way it was when I was 12.

Kid Flash, with that cool yellow and red costume that allowed his hair (originally red) to get some flow when he ran.
Of course, in my mind it's always about 1965 in the DC Universe, so....

Adult Wally as the Flash-I was in on that at the bottom floor. I had read New Teen Titans and Wally had been ancillary to that book at best and probably the lest interesting of the hanger-ons in the cast. I didn't care about the character at all until he assumed the mantle of the Flash post-Crisis.

The Flashes, I don't know enough about to say. Visually, my favourite might have been the earlier version with the Mercury or Hermes-style helmet, but that was mostly because of the helmet - almost as cool as Magneto's Greek helmet! But about the characters themselves, I haven't a clue.
Godzillas, the regular Godzilla by default, since I've never seen any Mechagodzilla movies. But the whole giant robot thing has always passed my by - I nevr watched any of the various cartoons like Transformers, etc, and the concept has never appealed to me much, so I'm pretty sure I'll continue to prefer the old Godzilla even if i do see lone of the Mecha movies sometime.

Which One deserves the title King of Eaters? Jughead Jones or Shaggy and Scooby? Matter Eater Lad is disqualified as he can and does eat any or everything until it drives him crazy. Wally West also does not count as his food consumption is a necessary side effect of his super speed metabolism.
Yes, the over eating human machine has quite a few others as contenders from Wimpy to Dagwood (feel free to mention) to Fred Flinstone and so forth. But it is Shag and Scoob and Jug who constantly remain in the public awareness as being at the top of the eating food pyramid.
While Shaggy and Scooby provide lots of fun and outrageous visuals over the years I'm giving my vote to Jughead for the win. Jughead has been shown to close down restaurants several times and his extreme eating talent has even been so coveted as having an evil witch barter it away from him for her own devilish designs and his friends finding a way to get it back. Jug has also applied his munching abilities in many other ways in his life, not just for feeding his hunger. This creativity and character trait provides the edge for our needle nosed chompers winning the crown, which by the way, he already traditionally wears!
