Missy already was a Time Lord and so would have been immune.
But, if you meant River Song, she was Steven Moffat’s pet character and therefore the universe would allow no harm to befall her because it might mark her as less than perfect.
Or, if you prefer a more in-universe explanation, Donna was dying because she absorbed all of the Doctor’s knowledge (and much of his personality). The human brain was never intended to house something as complex as a Time Lord’s mental powers and prowess and was running so fast it was burning itself out. River Song’s abilities were a result of her being conceived in the TARDIS. (And her being Steven Moffat’s pet Mary Sue.)

Which One do you prefer, hamburgers or hot dogs?. While I crave a grilled hot diggity doggie with the works every so often the champion go to for me is the tasty home grilled hamburger. Thanks to being a family of and in the low income end of life growing up the family was never a take out or eat out option. Grew up with home mom's and grandma's cooking. Creatively a burger can be changed up flavor palette wise with adding into the actual burger and you can make a thin patty or a big fat overstuffed grilled juices running down your arm and face monster of a beast burger.
And nothing beats that home grilled smoke and charcoal combination. So many holiday and birthdays with our large family all the aunts/uncles/cousins where burgers and dogs was the menu. Grilling brings back great memories. What is your choice?

Hamburgers (not even a serious choice for me).

Hamburgers by a wide margin. Not that I mind good hotdogs (yes you can get them) but bad hotdogs are an abomination, whereas burgers tend to be more forgiving. If you include various sausages (chorizo, andouille, Italian sausage, kielbasa, brats) it becomes a closer call. Good sausages beat poor burgers.

The only time I eat hot dogs at all is if I have a live (in person) sporting event directly in front of my eyeballs.
Otherwise, it's burgers hands down.

When I am grilling myself? Hot dogs. At a restaurant usually burgers. I've never really found a restaurant that has hot dogs worth paying for when they are so easy to make myself. But at home, I like to burn em (because it's good and no one else will eat them that way) and then top them with DILL relish, sauerkraut, jalapenos and mustard. Mmmm. Mmmm. Now I'm getting hungry.

Hamburgers. I'm not a great fan of hot dogs, or of sausages or weiners in general, though I won't refuse to eat them. I find it hard to imagine getting excited over even the best hot dog.

Brats are probably my favorite thing to grill next to a strip steak. Brats in tortillas (which is how I eat my hot dogs too) is the best thing I learned from moving here. Can’t remember the last time I ate a hot dog or brat in a bun.

Hamburgers, without question. There are so many things you can do with them, from seasonings to toppings to buns, that you could have hamburgers for days on end and never eat the "same one" twice. Just starting with lettuce, tomato, pickles (dill or bread-and-butter), onions (raw or sauteed), sauteed mushrooms, BACON, and any kind of cheese imaginable, and this is just a starting point. The combinations are virtually limitless.
Hot dogs are pretty much "Bun, Dog, standard condiments". Sure, there are some standard toppings or styles (Chicago-style, chili dog, sauerkraut), but anything beyond that and it's just adding something to say you did it (I saw a place at our usual beach spot serving a hot dog with crab meat on it and I'm like "why"?).

Hamburgers. However I prefer hot dogs at summer events like baseball games, outdoor concerts, walking on the boardwalk. The rest of the time it's a hamburger.

Which One today is a all about final frontiers. SPACE or THE DEEP BLUE SEA? Which captures your interest for further exploration?
Inherited my mom's fear of water (good thing I live in the middle of the desert) and I was of an age when NASA was a great news story. Growing up with rocket launches while listening to Walter Cronkite as we landed on the moon was inspiring, fascinating and spectacular. Space captivates my curiosity and fires my imagination.

Great choice, as those two domains were the ones that fired my imagination as a kid. I wanted to be Neil Armstrong and Jacques-Yves Cousteau in equal measure! The deep blue sea is of course easier to visit. Scuba diving for a few years was one of the most amazing experiences of my life; the possibility of moving freely in all three dimensions was the next best thing to flying. Night dives with light-emitting noctiluca, swimming not that far from whales (which I didn't see underwater, alas), going straight down along a rock cliff for a hundred feet, that was the kind of week-end adventure well worth the horrible smell of the drysuits!!! Still, given the endless nature of space, that's what I would chose. This simulated voyage at light speed from the sun to Jupiter fills me with awe every time, as does this beautiful clip, reminding me of Kim Stanley Robinson's novels: Plus, well... I played a lot with these as a kid :

I had the Major Matt Mason Big Little Book as a kid but never any of the toys. I remember being fascinated with them in the Christmas Catalgue when I was a small kid, though.

Space. By many orders of magnitude. One of my first dreams was to mine asteroids. I was absolutely enthralled by the U.S. space program before it was gutted. On the other hand, I am very much not a water person. I can almost swim...so that's something.
