From UPDATE: Ezra Miller To Play Movie Version Of THE FLASH; Jason Momoa Confirmed For AQUAMAN Well, it appears as if we can forget seeing Grant Gustin suit up as the Scarlet Speedster on the big screen as Warner Bros. have revealed today - following the unveiling of their DC Comics release slate - that Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower ) will play The Flash. Follow Josh: View CBM Profile Follow on Twitter Follow on Google By Josh Wilding - 10/15/2014 Following the reveal of their upcoming DC Comics movies (which you can read all about by clicking here), Warner Bros. have revealed that Ezra Miller will play the big screen version of The Flash. You'll have to click on the link above for details on when and where he'll turn up, but this obviously confirms that we won't see any sort of crossover between the television and movie universes. It's worth noting that Miller bears something of a resemblence to Star Wars Episode VII's Adam Driver who was said to be up for the role of Nightwing in Batman v Supeman: Dawn of Justice, but it could be that he was in fact being lined up for The Flash instead. This is an unexpected choice, but Miller has delivered stellar performances in movies The Perks of Being a Wallflower and We Need to Talk About Kevin. Also made official by the studio is the fact that Jason Momoa will indeed be playing Aquaman, finally putting an end to all of that tedious speculation! How do you guys feel about this latest casting news? Be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place. UPDATE: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller will indeed be playing Barry Allen - the same character Grant Gustin stars as in The CW series - as, "The story centers on Barry Allen, a man with super speed and super-fast reflexes." How do you feel about separate movie and TV universes? Read more at www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=109335#gqK0mvM5y09JblIm.99

I don't see him as Barry Allen at all. He does seem like he would be a good choice to play one of the Flash rogues though, like Pied Piper or Weather Wizard.

Ezra Miller is not a favorite of mine and Jason Momoa is better suited for Hawkman instead. I will pass on Flash for sure.

I don't usually like to judge against an actor choice before seeing the show, but in this case I'll make an exception. There are so many talented actors who could play the Flash. I wonder why they chose this one?
I can easily see this guy playing Zatara or Klarion. He would probably make a great Abra Kadabra. Maybe even Jai West?

He'd be a good choice for klarion the witch boy. Not for any version of flash I know. But then this is DC/WB 2014, so I don't have any expectation of seeing anything I'm familiar with or want or ever hoped for.

I've never seen him in anything, so I have no idea if he can pull it off...still, a lot of the suggestions here for other people he can play seem to be based on his hair. One can get a hair cut and dye job...

Yeah, I don't see him as Flash but of course that won't stop me from the movie.
More Abra Kadabra or Weather Wizard IMO.
