It's funny the comics you imagine turning up which don't vs. the ones that do. There's one I was sure someone would post that hasn't appeared yet. I was trying to remember all the #100s I ever had and I seemed not to have all that many, but I did have one golden age #100, and it was treated just like any regular issue.

DC had special covers for Superman and Batman 100, but even the fact that a title had reached the 100th issue was rarely noted. Then again, not many titles reached their 100th issues. Or if they did it was with a name change.

Yes with all the name changes only a handful of issues surpassed #100 by the early 50's. Another reason? Many titles weren't monthly. They came out quarterly or every other month. So most fell short of reaching #100.

Oh, well there you go. Yes, so many were not monthly back then.

Very surprised that a certain amazing 100th cover didn't crawl in to make an appearance. Go figure...

String, with Kane doing his standard characters-running-forward theme.
Honorable mention: Rags and batsywatsy.

hondobrode. The young Conan fan in me loved these Smith issues.
