All the covers I wanted to post so far have shared cover credits....darn.... Can be inked by someone else. Just must be Kane pencils.

I always have loved Kane's work. He also faced the challenge of cramming good art in smaller spaces when Marvel did this with their covers. And yet, it still all worked and looked great!

Tough to choose one, but Green Lantern #57 is a favorite of what I used to have... One of my all-time favorite Kane and Silver Age covers.

So who wants to see Gil Kane's Giant-Size Man-Thing? Kane did brilliant work across so many different genres so I went for a cover that combined two different ones: horror and sword & sorcery. Plus it gave me an opportunity for a cheap joke. Giant-Size Man-Thing: the gift that keeps on giving.

Oh, man. Kane is one of my favorite artists, and he drew *so* many great covers. It's like being asked to pick a favorite child. I'll go with this one (a scan of the actual book I have):

We shouldn't forget he was one of the creators of the Graphic Novel concept.
