Noticed these while shopping around Walmart today. They have four titles for about $4.98 a piece
The titles are: -Norah's Saga -The Futurists -Red Rooster -Bass Reeves
Out of all of them, The Futurists and Red Rooster looked the most interesting

Just for those who do not want to support their cause, these are all Comic Gate adjacent and supportive creators working on these books and the books emerged out of the ComicGate movement.

Elizabeth Breitweiser and her husband Mitch are the central figure of this label. Mitch alienated a lot of folks with his comments and in the fallout, Elizabeth, who had been Ed Brubaker's colorist of choice on his books was replaced because she echoed her husband's comments and positions.
One of the jokes I have seen regarding this line-DC's tagline used to be holding the line at $2,99, but Allegiance's should be Back the Hate at $4.98.

Well I saw nothing regarding right wing opinions in the books or on their website and facebook. I was just surprised to see comic books of the non-big two variety in Walmart
I wonder if Walmart knows about Comicsgate and Allegiance's involvement in it

I doubt Walmart vettes any product line they carry.

Picked up all 4 last night after work at WalMart as I got my groceries. Someone must have goofed entering them into the computer system as each one rang up $1 apiece. For a buck they were great. All have nice art but Bass Reeves is the only one able to feel cohesive for a one issue read. The other 3 drag & don't supply enough information or narrative or action to pull you into the stories. At $5 each just enough outside of the art to follow them. Will see how they look in July when 2nd issues arrive.
