The Elric books were ubiquitous when I was in junior high and high school in the early and mid 80s. Absolutely everyone was reading them. I have that book (probably in storage). It's the first volume of the two volume Elric omnibuses from the Science Fiction Book Club. On the other hand, there were only a few of us who went very far beyond Elric. I've read the vast majority of Moorcock's work, but it's been well over thirty years ago for most of it. The exception is Behold the Man, which I read every two or three years. It is easily in the top ten books that formed who I am today. Yeah, I've read the comic adaptation of Gaiman's "One Life, Furnished in Early Moorcock" and Elric being the stopping and starting point for a lot of readers seems to be a very wide reaching sentiment. I think it's very ambitious of Moorcock to branch out into other genres as much as he did, it's something that I tried to do with my own work when I do find the time and strength to write

I didn't know exactly where to put this, so here it goes. Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro having dinner with and talking to Don Rickles. It's apparently the last of 13 videos in a series called "Dinner with Don" which were shot in the last year or so of Rickles' life. Three absolute legends here.
There are a few swears if that sort of thing is an issue for you.

The Fuzzy Memories youtube page has been posting some complete broadcasts of stuff and I found one that I just had to share. It's a tv movie of the week with Ernest Borgnine playing a beat cop with a cyborg partner

I've been enjoying some of the videos produced by these guys (The Bearded Butchers). My Dad was a butcher, but that was a long time ago and I only ever paid minimal attention because I knew there was no way I was doing that job. Also it's interesting how times have changed. The big "plate ribs" or "dino ribs" that are such a big deal now were almost always turned in to hamburger meat back in the 70s-90s when I remember him as an active butcher.
