Thanks for the win ( I win about one of these contests a year) anyway, this weeks topic is Who's the new guy ??
This week, post a cover that depicts the introduction of a new member of a team. It could be any type of team even a supervillain one. Good luck. This is my entry Post one classic cover that fits the theme of the contest. Covers must be posted before voting begins. Voting takes place on Tuesday, July 21st, beginning at 12:01 am PDT and ending at 11:59 pm PDT. Vote by posting the name of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or whose cover you simply like the best. Put your choice's name in bold. The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period ends. The winner chooses the theme for the next week's contest. If you don't think a cover fits the theme, Please don't post disparaging remarks about it, just don't vote for it. If a cover is more recent than the classic time frame, kindly point that out so that the poster can choose an alternate before voting begins. Two posters may not use the same cover.

Hope it’s okay that my cover depicts three new team members, rather than one:

Detective Comics #359: Introducing Batgirl to the Batman Family Maybe not the formal "team" you had in mind, but the "Batman Family" did have their own title, and, eventually, an organizational infrastructure to rival any super-hero team. OK, now, this finishes off the Brave & Bold cover-billed characters from my long-running personal Classic Comics Cover Contest Challenge that I've been documenting in a separate thread. I realized yesterday that despite looking over the B&B covers frequently over the last few years, I had somehow been blinded to the presence of Batgirl as a "guest star" in a team-up between Batman and Wonder Woman.

Sometimes the new guy isn't a guy.

Works for me.
