Gamma Rays the F4's ship passes through is some type of energy field perhaps tied to Eternals/Inhumans/High Evolutionary being beamed at some unknown point on Earth. That could be tied back to the next wave of movies. That energy signature could also be shown as what gets Galactus, the Kree, Skrulls & Shi'ar attention too towards this out the way planet in the middle of nowhere. I'd probably play that Reed is just crazy rich from development like something like Musk and private rocket company among interests. Ben Grimm is is test pilot side kick. Ship launches by accident by computer virus from Doom AI trying to get info from Reed Richards. Johnny and Sue just happen to be on the ship when it launches. |

Going back to X-Men, I guess one plus-point of coming into the MCU, is that the mostly-humanoid-looking characters won't be limited by cheapo SFX any more. For example, the Hoult Beast in the kids timeline was just laughably bad, especially in the First Class film; making a film about a character look worse than in an earlier film is just an embarassment. Although some of the MCU films haven't had perfect SFX, with the possible exception of Black Panther, they've generally got better and better as they've gone along - unlike Fox they seems to learn from their mistakes and successes and keep coming back even better.

My character mutant picks for the MCU are Namor, Wolverine, Deadpool, Fantomex, Darkstar, Omega Red, Three-Shot, Vulcan, and Mister Sinister. I have other desired choices for mutant picks, and I will list those names later.
