A thread to highlight the work of our favorite artists where they do both the pencils and inks.
Only work completely done by one artist. (with the exception of coloring)
I'll start with a few.
Barry Windsor Smith, Red Nails
Dan Adkins, Sub-mariner #56

Self-inking is relatively rare at the majors due to their production model but common when artists work on indies. Colleen Doran: Gene Ha:

Igor Kordey did a lot of bad self-inking (a super rush job, in his defense) on New X-Men. Morrison’s preferred artist Frank Quitely works slowly but did ink his own pencils on one issue, the “Nuff Said” silent story.

John Byrne wrote, did pencils, inks and letters to produce my favorite comic:

I think almost all the top artists of that younger generation of comicsartists who became promininent in the early 70s looked best when inking themselves - e.g. BWS, Wrightson, Kaluta, Russell, Gulacy - and not conicidentally, they were all known for having difficuty keeping up with a regular monthly or sometimes even bimonthly schedule.
One possible exception I can think of (to the inking, not the deadline problems) is Frank Brunner, who I think never looked better than when inked by Giordano (I think it was?) in Doctor Strange #4.

Brunner still looked amazing when inking himself.
