We need a review thread too, right? I present to you the Dog of War... Attachment Deleted...Orion. My Fourth World books are on loan, and you'd have to pay me to read a lot of the stuff that followed Kirby's departure, but Walt Simonson's 25 issues, running from 2000 to 2002, are a perfect chunk of comics for a thread like this. (Also, I'm committed to making shax get into a Walt Simonson comic.) Some stuff has happened before the series starts, but Simonson does a good enough job on catching the reader up that I won't mention any of it here. Expect a short look at the first issue tonight or tomorrow.

What a brilliant first review thread. One of my favorite series of the past twenty years. Can't wait until we get to the Abyssmal Plane. This may be sacrilege, but those two issues are the finest stories the Fourth World ever produced, in my opinion.

I can't believe I let my new child fall off the first page!
I did that thing just now where I was almost done with the review and then accidentally hit the Back button, losing everything. I guess I'll be composing them offline from now on and just pasting them in.
Sorry for the delay, everyone.

That way I always have a copy saved. -M

Been looking for this series everywhere. The print run was low, apparently, and the Philippine comic scene is short of Walt Orion fans.

Been looking for this series everywhere. The print run was low, apparently, and the Philippine comic scene is short of Walt Orion fans. Some of the issues can be found pretty cheap online (the 1st seven issues, for example) altho I don't know how much international shipping would affect that. Others are more expensive or just plain unavailable. From what I've read I would definitely recommend this to any fans of Walt's Thor series (or to New Gods fans)

Shipping to the Philippines is a sadly complicated and ridiculous process subject to arbitrary (and I mean arbitrary) customs taxes. We try to avoid the online thing when we can.
