Ok, even with postal delays on packages, it looks like everything was sent out, most have received theirs and for those who haven't, the senders have receive delivery confirmation for them. Still I have done a tally of what has been posted so far to see what's what. MRP- sent package, e-mail confirmation of arrival on 12/7, no word form recipient if it arrived safely; received gift from Santa hondobrode-no word if package has been sent by him, but recipient mentioned receiving something; no word if he received anything though sender has received confirmation it was delivered The Captain-sent gift, recipient acknowledged arrival; mentioned receiving part of his gift buy no pics posted MDG-package sent and received, received gift from Santa Icctrombone-package sent and received; received gift from Santa thwhtguardian-package sent, no acknowledgement of its arrival; received gift from Santa pinkfloydsound17-gift arrived; no gift received yet (though sender has e-mail confirmation of its arrival) @bert-package sent and received; received gift from Santa So it looks like two folks (Hobdobrode and pinkfloydsound17) haven't received anything yet but both of those were sent and the sender received delivery confirmation, so there may be a little concern here. One person (The Captain) mentioned receiving part of a gift but it waiting for the second. So hopefully we hear something from those awaiting gits still soon so we can confirm if there was a problem or if we are all set. -M |

Id be surprised if porch pirates got to me. Our neighbourhood is not known for that at all. Plus the only thing left on our porch ever is amazon stuff....the rest seems to go to our postal box....maybe it’s still delayed. I know that happened a lot this year. Heck I’m still waiting on something but it’s weird that it notified as having arrived.
At any rate, I’m not too concerned.

I hate to say it, but I have never received it.
This is the first time I've never received anything at any residence ever except for an extremely slow package with some prime X-Men comics but that's another story...

The second part of my gift arrived today, so here they are:  I've only ever read one issue of Moore's Swamp Thing (The Anatomy Lesson, which DC reprinted as a $1 book a few years back), but it's always intrigued me, so that was an exciting find. As for the Superman, I have read probably no more than 10 issues featuring Superman in my life (excluding JLA), so I'm coming at this with no background whatsoever. I like both Len Wein and Jim Starlin, so I'm looking forward to getting into this as well. Thanks Santa!! |

I just got word from Hodobrode that he had received the package, so we are down to just one who hasn't received his gift yet. Hopefully it is received soon, so we can wrap this up for the year.
