I'm not authorized to do anything in this forum but I had an idea for us to get to know each other better in 2021. Is it viable for CCf to have a weekly zoom meeting just to shoot the bull ? I already think the members here are amazing, maybe in leu of ever meeting at a con, we can "see" each other on a screen.

I'm not authorized to do anything in this forum Now you are. While you certainly didn't need anyone's authority to start a zoom chat here, I think it's a great idea. My only caution is that this requires members sharing personal email addresses and/or google account usernames with one another. You are protected with a certain anonymity when you log onto the CCF that doesn't exist on Zoom. But yeah, go for it! |

I do Zoom meetings pretty regularly so I'm interested in finding a time and day of week that works for most everyone.

I could do it on occasion. I wouldn't be around every week, but I'd pop in when I can. Sounds fun.

Wish I could but my cellphone freezes up with any kind of video groups. Something about my reception area being a crossover zone for signals. Depending on day or time I may have spotty connections. so I am out. Sounds fun though. so

How about this Sunday ( 1-3-2021) about 12pm EST ? Anyone interested , I would host the meeting and send out the info via the message feature on this forum ?

I watched a YouTube vid and I participated a few times n meetings that others hosted. I figure for the first time, I can send out invites and we can talk about whatever. Who knows, maybe ...comics?  |
