I’m sorry that I missed it, guys. I had another pet emergency. My new dog ate one of my chocolate chip cookies and I had to run him to urgent care to get his stomach pumped. Two hour wait for nothing as he didn’t need it. Happy for that, though.

Self-assessment tax returns have to be done and paid by January 31st here in the UK. So, I've actually left it til pretty much the last minute, as usual. Finally got it done and submitted today. |

This makes me think of episode #1 of "Black Books", a hilarious series starring Dylan Moran. Episode 1 is from 2000, and is all about him doing his taxes for his London bookshop.

Self-assessment tax returns have to be done and paid by January 31st here in the UK. So, I've actually left it til pretty much the last minute, as usual. Finally got it done and submitted today. I know Black Books well, it's one of my wife's favourite shows. |

Black Books is hilarious. My brother was watching it a few years ago, and I probably saw about half the episodes, just by stopping by the house. I would watch whatever episode he was watching and he would then go back and show me one or two more he thought was particularly funny.
If I notice it on streaming, I will scroll through and try to find episodes I don’t remember seeing, and I usually watch an episode or two that I remember as being hilarious. Like the episode where Fran has a crush on the voice of the guy who does the shipping report on the radio. That cracks me up. I’ve seen that several times.
How many seasons is it? If it’s three or less, I’ve probably seen most of them by now.

It is indeed three series of 6 episodes each.
Drink beverages at your own peril while watching these shows, unless you like to spew in mid-sip.
Father Ted is probably at the top of my list, but then again I'm not Catholic.
