and of course. . just saw this and remembered . . . grrrr by the time made dinner, finished up with work, and dealt with my Dad. . just plumb forgot. and will be in Houston with him this weekend, so wont' be back in time for Sunday if you do another. sheesh..I'll join again at some point. I mean. . I have to, if Rob thinks US1 is good enough to save for posterity in the group photo (what WAS he thinking??)  |

I mean. . I have to, if Rob thinks US1 is good enough to save for posterity in the group photo (what WAS he thinking??) I didn't take that screen shot - my hands were busy holding up the comic. I showed 16 comics that I bought last week; George is the one who decided to immortalize that one. I'll post the list in the What Have You Purchased thread after I take pictures. |

Nice midweek gathering for after work. Enjoyed the discussions as always. And always good seeing others purchases. And love or hate it, at least US1 completely told a story and was allowed to finish, as so many others never did. I was late to the party due to work but appreciate y'all staying up late. And to those who didn't check in, get the word out to others or try to pop in momentarily. It is a chance to see and talk with the great unknown faces of the CCF members and share in the live discussion. Try it, you will like it Mikey!!! I'm glad you were able to join in even it was later. You missed some Kirby discussion about his fourth world stuff. Early on, it was just Hoosier and I and we talked about the infamous stories of the Golden age , the Boner story in Batman and the Gay city story in Superman. I was pulling Rob's leg by showing the US1 cover. He bought some really nice books besides that one, in a yard sale. |

Tonights meeting was well attended by HoosierX, Kirby101, Brutalis, Rob Allen and me.  I apologize for the copy of US 1 messing up the photo... Great to see some new faces joining in! |

Anyone up for a meeting this Wednesday 8pm ? I'll be a late arrival but with 115-118 temperatures this week I can guarantee I shall be Zooming home and nothing else after work. If you notice drips of water upon me during the get together it may not be sweat, but is me slowly melting away... |
