Kaamelott, the movie sequel to a French cult TV series from ten years ago. The kind of series that a dad and his kid know by heart, swapping quotes all the time, much to the exasperation if their respective spouses! Right on. My late father really liked Monty Python and the Holy Grail. He wasn’t the kind that would quote it. He would just watch it and grin the whole time. It’s one of my favorite movies.

My late father really liked Monty Python and the Holy Grail. He wasn’t the kind that would quote it. He would just watch it and grin the whole time. It’s one of my favorite movies. My late dad and I caught it very late at night, many decades ago, having never heard of Monty Python and having no idea what we were watching. Needless to say, it became one of our favourite movies too! I saw few movies with dad, overall... the last time was The Two Towers, and because his Alzheimer's was already pretty advanced, he slept through the whole thing. It was a bittersweet experience, but I still treasure it.

Alas, I'll be on the road, joining my wife who's already at her parents' place. It's a six hours drive, so I don't want to delay too much!
Have fun, y'all!

you're timing it so Nick can sit right next to me and eavesdrop. . meaning I can't really talk about anything.
oh well.
(he was at work, but just got home 5 minutes ago, and is headed to the office. he's do damn passive agressive, I'll bet he won't go sit in living room. and will insist on being in office)

For all you afraid to Zoom along with the rest of us crazy ZOOMDERS, you missed out again. Always entertaining, always educational, always interactive and sometimes provocative (thank you Bert and your obsession of John Cena's tighty whitey style and is it double stuffed or not) talk in a friendly round table discussion. We cover life (our prayers and well wishes for Shax/Owen, Rob Allens upcoming dental surgery along with Bert and his spouse frustrations in attempts to having further tests done. Add long with work hazards (George facing a beatdown during his mail run), comics, movies, podcasts and whatever else may come around.
This week ranged through movies Suicide Squad 2 to giant Kaiju throwdown as to great or crap in Gamera vs Godzilla ( we know ber's choice) and stop in on past political terrorism of North Korea kidnapping film makers so they can have their very own rubber suited asian creation. Was Kirby just an idea man fast and furiously creating new concepts never slowing down or looking to explore his past creations? The difficulties and differences of self publishing in the 70's versus when the IMAGE boys broke out on their own for success and fame?
The ongoing topic of Covid issues as businesses all open up and conventions hope to return. Is it Swag or Hoarding junk when you still have all your used calendars in your attic or on your desk? We covered the early days of DC and General ZOD coming to big bad when Superman hit theaters. How the small yipping Chihuahuas's of Charlton and Atlas, Dark Horse, Malibu and others came and went and what we liked or didn't like from them.
Has Mcfarlane and Miller become crazy old men? From recent pictures it looks like ALL of us are aging not so gracefully. What we do admit is our ongoing loving addiction of comic books. Y'all should Zoom in and zoom out and enjoy the fun...
