Good conversation. And to be clear, that is Jack Kirby needing a writer, not me kirby101.

Sorry I missed you guys today. I dragged myself out of bed at 8 to make breakfast because my wife's medicine schedule requires regular meals; went back to sleep at 9 and slept till 1. Now, at 4, we've just finished lunch. We don't live on the same schedule as the rest of the world.

That was a good crowd! I'm sorry I missed the meeting.
Alas, I was busy servicing the snowblower, drawing up plans for a woodshed and changing the car's tires. A homeowner's work is never done!
I still follow tartanphantom's advice on Speyside single malts, though.

Now, at 4, we've just finished lunch. We don't live on the same schedule as the rest of the world. If I didn't know better, I'd say you live on Tristan da Cunha instead of in Oregon. That was a good crowd! I'm sorry I missed the meeting. Alas, I was busy servicing the snowblower, drawing up plans for a woodshed and changing the car's tires. A homeowner's work is never done! I still follow tartanphantom's advice on Speyside single malts, though. You serviced the snowblower, and after the meeting I cut my front yard for the 3rd time this spring.
Backyard is for tomorrow afternoon-- the whole 1/2 acre of it-- with a walk-behind mower. Cooling off with a Shiner Bock right now-- may have a dram of scotch after dinner.

Meanwhile, in Idaho, we are suffering through “Third Winter.” No snow in the valley but it snowed on the mountain. 70% chance of snow in the valley tonight though.

It's been a semi cold spring in NY. It's 40's with a strong wind right now.

We had flurries yesterday night, but it all melted during the night. Ned Stark's forecasting notwithstanding, spring is coming!

I should be in... it will be my last time until June, as I have gigs (TN Renaissance Festival) all day every Sat. and Sun. in May. It's a grind, but pays very well.
