May have already been discussed but I've been watching GLOW (pretty good) and Mark Maron better be 1970's Stan Lee in any bio pic created!

I have trouble seeing Mark Maron being that jovial for more than about 30 seconds. Still, better than Michael Park as a cigarette holder-using Jack Kirby in Argo.

But was Stan Lee that jovial back at the office? From interviews I have read; more or less. No one has described his as a screamer or a grouch; pretty much a cheerleader. That's not to say there might have been instances of anger or frustration. I have read that he wasn't happy with the whole Kirby art return situation and lit a few fires behind the scenes to get Marvel to return the art, without conditions; or, at least settle quickly. Roy has described some moments where he said "so and so" would never work at Marvel again, with the Atlas thing but it sounded more like blowing off steam, as pretty much everyone came back to work for Marvel, at some point, except maybe Tony Isabella, after he left (did he ever do a project for them again?) I like Mark Maron and think he is great on GLOW; but, beyond a physical resemblance, I don't really see him being and actor to portray the public Stan Lee, unless you are going to portray him as something other than he was.
