(See the Advance Warning before participating) Nominations for most knowledgeable member1. Please post no more than one nomination for a member who you feel was the most knowledgeable in our seventh year of the CCF (between April 30th, 2020 at 9:22pm EST and April 30, 2021 at 9:21pm EST). 2. You must explain why you are nominating this member. This is the blurb that will end up in the CCF Hall of Fame if they win! 3. Please second no more than one nomination made by another member. You may not second your own nomination. 4. Any member that has previously won this award should not be nominated again unless they have done something especially different in the past year that is worthy of note. It is a given that past winning members continue to enrich the community. Let someone else have a turn 5. Any member receiving both a nomination and a second will be included in the final ballot for this award on May 24th. 6. Nominations and Seconds for this round conclude on May 18th. 7. Absolutely NO negative talk about another member, nor another member's nomination. The very purpose of this event is to salute our members and discussions for all they contribute to this community. Though only one member will ultimately receive this award, you have the potential to thank and maybe touch any member you choose to nominate or second. Please don't use this opportunity to hurt or deflate someone. So start your nominating!

I nominate chaykinstevens. He and I may not agree on what the term "rare" means, but he is by far the best editor I've ever had, always chiming in on mine and others' review threads to kindly point out errors and mistakes without any sense of judgment or arrogance. Our work here is better because of him and of his extensive knowledge.

For this one I go with none other than berkley, from classic films to comics of just about any genre he always seems to have an interesting insight to share that never fails to me make we want to learn more.

I nominate @bert for the Most knowledgeable member. Based on the zoom meetings, I learned that he has experiences beyond just his comics savy. He's been all over the place and has an amazing collection of comics books, art and smut.

I will second the nomination for @bert. Even being on just one Zoom call with him proved he knows a great deal about many things and will gladly expound on those subjects, sometimes in quite profane ways 😉

I am always learning something new and fascinating from every post made by MWGallaher, from his knowledge of the space program to his insights about obscure comics, sales numbers, Jim Aparo, and behind-the-scenes information about comics publishing. My only complaint about him is that he doesn't post as often as I'd like.
