Another year in the books, as well as another celebration reminding us of all the people and conversation that makes this community so special. Thank you all for your participation.
And a heartfelt congratulations (as always) to every member of this community, whether you won, were nominated, or just deserved to be. There were only ten awards to go around, but we all make this place what it is. Thank you!
The awards are designed to be the ideal size to work as a banner for those who feel like rightfully flaunting their win. After all, it's not really bragging if we voted to give you the honor in the first place

THE RESULTS
The Professor Xavier Award for Best Discussion Starter
"He started the Top decade Tournament survey, Comic Organizing question, Easter eggs, and the Missed the Boat/ Underappreciated threads. They all got lots of traffic and garnered many interesting discussions. "
Favorite Classic Comic (non-review) Thread
"{mrp shines} the spotlight on his specific comic book cover inspired purchasing hunt. It shows that there can be more to the elusive treasure seeking joy we found as a youngster for comic book collecting. If you make a decision uniquely your own, dedicated in keeping the thrill alive, then you never truly lose the fun and excitement. A great way for keeping comic collecting fresh and a personal pleasure for a long term experience.
Makes for wonderful reading as MRP shows us his latest acquisitions and it is great that others have embraced his hunt, offering up suggestions and images for assisting on a fellow treasure hunting safari.."
The Brother Power the Geek Award for Funniest Member
"I mean even his user name is witty and amusing never mind how fun his posts usually are."
Favorite Beyond The Back Issues Thread
"{This} was a lot of fun to read that showcased a lot of choices from some of my favorite posters."
The Krypto Award for Friendliest Member
"despite his screen name {he} remains cool, friendly and funny in all circumstances!"
Favorite Original Fiction or Art Piece
"I mean just look at {that} rendition of Medusa!"
The Uatu Award: Most knowledgeable Member
"I am always learning something new and fascinating from every post made by M. W. Gallaher, from his knowledge of the space program to his insights about obscure comics, sales numbers, Jim Aparo, and behind-the-scenes information about comics publishing. My only complaint about him is that he doesn't post as often as I'd like. "
Favorite Review Thread
"a deep and thoroughly considered exploration of Marvel's foray into a genre I know next to nothing about. It was fascinating, captivating, and so original in its research and considerations. It truly raised the bar for CCC review threads."
The Jasper Sitwell Award for Best New Member
"He knows his stuff about movie AND Comics history. He doesn't post a whole lot , but it hits the mark when he does post. "
The Captain Jim Zimmerman Award for Best Overall Member Who Most Exemplifies the Spirit of the CCF
"a tireless crusader for the spirit of community hereabouts, especially obvious this past year in his commitment to bringing members together through Zoom meetings, where he is a much funnier and a skillful host than anyone you'll see on late-night shows.
His posts reflect his common sense, dry humor, passion for comics, and a willingness to disagree without alienating those on the other side of the issue.
Thanks, George!"
A heartfelt congratulations to all of our winners, nominees, and participants. Thanks, EVERYONE, for a seventh amazing year at the CCF. It only seems to keep getting better around here!
