I've gotten a few Malware warnings in the last few minutes, one for something called browser updater and another for cdloader. Anybody else seeing this?

I've gotten a few Malware warnings in the last few minutes, one for something called browser updater and another for cdloader. Anybody else seeing this? Yep. It also keeps going from proboards to a page telling me to update my flashplayer as well. I just shut all the browser windows and ran a virus scan and came up with nothing though. It is highly annoying though. -M |

I used to get these at CBR all the time. First I've heard of it here, though. Still happening to you guys?

I'm not seeing it yet(thankfully). We did see that a looooong time ago on the old HOJ but it went away and never came back.

Are you using Google Chrome thwtguardian? I had the same thing happen while I was at CBR, and there was someone there who posted the same thing in their ask a mod forum who had it happen and used chrome too. I am wondering if it was a Chrome thing and not a proboards thing.

I had the same thing happen last night (Google Chrome)... it had downloaded an extension called 'Music Indexer' or something like that... all was well when I got rid of it.

I let them know that the issue most of you experienced wasn't with an advertisement, but keep this in mind in case it helps next time.
