It's a rare sight for the Hulk to get physically beaten. As Hulk likes to tell everybody "Hulk is the strongest one there is!". So how many examples can we think of of the Hulk getting knocked out by an opponent? I don't mean getting put to sleep (like with gas) or magically changed back to Banner (e.g., Dr. Strange) or turned back to Banner with the power cosmic (Silver Surfer) but just simply knocked unconscious by an opponent.
I recently rea Iron Man #132 where the Hulk was staggered by taking the brunt of a huge explosion (a lear jet smashing into a fuel truck) and then Iron Man overide the safeties in his circuits to put all of his power into one punch, knocking the Hulk unconscious.
Can anyone think of any other examples? I'm sure there are more, but offhand I can't remember any.

In Hulk 314 Doc Samson knocked out Hulk. Though this was done through trickery, Laying out Hulk is still laying Hulk. I wonder if a better question has the Hulk ever been beat down when he was at 100%?

I don't think it happens enough - though I believe it's become more common in more recent years, with the extra Hulks beating each other up, but maybe that shouldn't count since it's Hulk on Hulk.
But generally, I think the "Stongest One There Is" idea has been taken to ridiculous extremes: it used to be more or less ambiguous as to who if anyone was strongest amongst the top tier of Marvel's strongmen (and they were all men, unfortunately) - Hulk, Thor, Hercules, ... even the Sub-Mariner coud usually hold his own. But as the years went by the Hulk was played up more and more, often by decisively beating the other strong guys.
I always wished that classic Trimpe/Severin cover with the Valkyrie holding a seemingly defeated Hulk over her head, about to give him the coup de grace, was a more accurate reflection of the story inside - so you can see where I'm coming from!

The 1st time THE ABOMINATION fought The Hulk, he kicked his A**. Left him laying there unconscious, lookng half-dead. Two words: "GIL KANE".
And logically that should happen 9 times out of 10, given the way the Abomination character was defined. But then they invented an out for the Hulk and themse;ves with this idea that "angry Hulk" gets stonger basically to infinity: it's as bad as Superman, in its own way, or Batman always having the upper hand on everyone, no matter what.

Before I read the Abomination's debut (in a MSH reprint), I read one of the rematches, art by Trimpe & Jack Abel (my favorite inker for Trimpe), which also featured The Rhino.
Hulk decided at the last minute he wasn't interested and walked away... while, behind him, Abomination & Rhino PLOWED into each other at top speed. I doubt either one was killed, but the way Herb Trimpe drew it, it looked like they were both DESTROYED in the impact!! (Which may have been the intention, as I don't believe it was ever mentioned in the dialogue that they were picked up and locked away afterwards.)

In Fantastic Four #167, the Invisible Girl defeated Hulk by wrapping his head in her force field until he passed out from oxygen deprivation. Not exactly a beatdown, but pretty damn impressive nonetheless.
Cei-U! I summon Sue's finest hour!

That's a good example of how the Hulk's geat trength has been exaggerated into a not-to-be-questioned superiority over the years: in a 2000s "Lady Liberators" story, IIRC the Invisible Girl (have they not changed this to Invisible Woman yet BTW?) does the same trick but it doesn't work - the Hulk pretends to go unconscious but is actually playing possum and goes on to abduct Thundra - just tucks her under his arm and takes off with her, as if she's a helpless damsel in distress. So much for the enlightened 2000s!
