I recently got a subscription to Disney +, largely for The Mandelorian, and I am wondering what else they've got that is really good. I don't have a ton of time to watch these programs, but I'm hoping that with all the Marvel and Star Wars stuff they've got, there's something else worth trying to squeeze into my schedule.

I'd also highly recommend Rebels (give it a few episodes.. the first couple are terrible, but it gets SO good). Bad Batch is good if you've watched Clone Wars.
For the Marvel shows, I think I'd say Falcon and Winter Soldier has been the best one so far.... both Loki and Wandavision were greatly enchanced by the internet speculation of what was coming next, not sure they'd be as fun without it. Hawkeye (which started yesterday) also looks quite promising.

Hawkeye (which started yesterday) also looks quite promising. At the risk of sounding like a contrarion troll, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is my least favorite by far. I think subscribing after some series have completed their seasons may actually make the experience better they tend to be slow the first episode or two. Like with Loki, I wasn't too into it after the first episode. But then I binged the rest of it after the finale aired and really enjoyed it. I haven't really dug into the National Geographic offerings, but I saw the documentary Free Solo (about rock climbing, not Han) when it was in theaters, and I know it's one of the Nat Geo offerings. It's really good.

I don't have a ton of time to watch these programs, but I'm hoping that with all the Marvel and Star Wars stuff they've got, there's something else worth trying to squeeze into my schedule. All depends what you are in to. My wife and I have enjoyed all of the original Marvel series (Wandavision, Falcon & Winter Soldier, Loki, What If? and Hawkeye so far). We've also enjoyed some of the documentaries and behind the scenes look at some of the Marvel series and movies (like Assembled). My wife is a huge Star Wars fan as well, and really enjoyed Bad Batch and Star Wars Visions in addition to the Mandalorian (I've only seen Mandalorian among those). She has also checked out some of the Disney movie offerings (she really liked Soul), both those she hadn't seen and revisiting old favorites. I have sampled some of the Marvel animated series available there, mostly those I hadn't had a chance to see before, but with the announcement of X-Men '97, I have been revisiting the classic X-Men animated series which I hadn't watched in some time. There's a ton of other Disney material I marked as a watch list when we got the series (like revisiting Black Hole or catching things I never had the chance to see), but I have very limited viewing time and I haven't made a lot of progress on that list. But it all comes down to what kind of stuff interests you. There's lots of good stuff there, it just might not be in your wheelhouse depending on your tastes. If all your interested in in Marvel and Star Wars, it narrows your options, but there's still stuff worth checking out. If you are not into animation, then that would also narrow options, etc. so it all comes down to what kind of stuff are you willing to trade your available time for a chance to to view it? -M

Jojo Rabbit. What a beautiful, beautiful movie. Taika Waititi is an amazing director, able to make us laugh out loud and cry in the same sequence.
Not quite comics-related, but it does have Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell and Waititi himself, three MCU alumni!

As to what I'm into, I guess I'll say action/adventure. I'm a fan of both Marvel and Star Wars (though I hated the Disney Star Wars sequels) and nowadays I prefer things a bit lighter. I'm not into the dark, grim and gritty stuff like I use to be. At least give me some humor. Most of the MCU movies are serious, but still inject enough humor to lighten things up. As far as National Geographic, I dig science and history documentaries, but that stuff I can figure out for myself. I was thinking more about engaging Marvel and Star Wars series.

Duck Tales (IIRC, the old series is there as well as the new one, where David Tennant voices Uncle Scrooge) and Gargoyles (which features the voices of Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis from ST:TNG) are both good light adventure cartoon that have their humor in them. I think the other 80s Disney cartoons are there as well (Talespin, Darkwing Duck, etc)

Gargoyles was basically a Star Trek TNG reunion: Michael Dorn and Brent Spiner also both were in the cast. (And James Avery and Kate Mulgrew also appeared, but that's DS9 and Voyager)
All in all, Gargoyles had a stellar cast of voice actors.

The World According To Jeff Goldblum is an awesome show on Disney+ and the various Secrets of the Zoo series are great if you enjoy animals.

Thanks. I'll check it out. Honestly, the only one of the Marvel shows I didn't care for was What If? Some of the episodes were good, for instance I loved the Doctor Strange episode, but yeah over all it was cooler in concept than execution.

I didn't like that one much.... I thought the Blank Panten as Starlord one was decent, and the best one was definitely the first one, but alot of the others were pretty medicore.
