I know the sequel is coming out soon, but FX is re-running the Avengers as much as TNT showed the Beastmaster back in the day. And my wife watches it every time.

Is Izombie based on the Vertigo comic?
EDIT: Nevermind, 30 seconds of Googling confirm that it is, though it sounds like they have deviated a bit.

I watched the first episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine last night. It's a pretty funny show and Andy Samberg is great as usual.

I created a profile on my girlfriend's Netflex a few months ago and have finally gotten back into watching episodic TV. The first thing I watched was Breaking Bad. Wow. What a great show. After that I watched Cosmos with Neil Degrasse Tyson. Fantastic production values and a great update of the Karl Sagan original. As is to be expected, I have my list filled with all the Star Trek, Dr. Who, X-Files, Xena, etc, type stuff that I could find.
I'm eagerly awaiting Daredevil, Iron Fist and Defenders on Netflix. For whatever reason the current Marvel and DC TV fair hasn't appealed to me. I guess it's because I was only a very casual Flash and Green Arrow fan and a TV show about Batman's supporting cast simply doesn't thrill me. Ditto with SHIELD since it doesn't feature the classic Nick Fury, or his Howling Commandos, which was always the main draw with SHIELD for me.

The Howling Commandos were in an episode of Agent Carter (as well as a flashback cameo in an Agents of SHIELD episode), if they're your jam.

TNT is about to run the first two episodes tonight at 10pm ET. I'd encourage everyone to at least watch the first few minutes so you can see the title sequence for the show with new art by Mike Allred. Is Izombie based on the Vertigo comic? EDIT: Nevermind, 30 seconds of Googling confirm that it is, though it sounds like they have deviated a bit.

Just finished binge watching the first season of Banshee on Cinemax On Demand. Is this the best show that no one is watching? There's some seriously epic action in this series. The bloody and brutal fight scenes make me cringe and clench my fist every time. Despite some of it being predictable and the premise itself being ridiculous it's a lot of fun and there's a good bit of satisfying pay off. Looking forward to binge watching seasons 2 and 3 this weekend.

So anybody seen Daredevil yet? I don't have Netflix, but the reviews are very positive so far.

I turned back on my Netflix account for the first time since last summer to watch the new Daredevil show. Two episodes in and it's definitely worth it so far.

Arthur C. Clarke's Childhood's End has been adapted into a TV miniseries by Syfy!

Daredevil was awesome.
Childhood End's 1 of my favourite novels: I hope they don't screw it up.

CHildhood's End should be interesting... looking forward to it.
I'm a little sad Justified is over... it did have a pretty satisfying ending, though... great series.
