I didn't think it was possible, but they managed to make the story of Superman going crazy and taking over the world into a Batman Movie.

The beginning follows the comic... maybe the first 1/2?  The rest is completely different, and while the ending was at least mildly clever, I wouldn't call it good by any stretch.
