So Mrs. MRP signed up for Audible via Prime to get some stuff she wanted, and as a result we got a couple of free bonus choices, one of which I used to get the first part of the Audible original adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Sandman. I don't do audiobooks as a rule, so this has sat for a while and I never started it, until this afternoon. I was down in the basement doing laundry and puttering with my comics organization, so started playing it on the Alexa we have down there. I only got as far into it as the end of the material from the first issue (with Morpheus escaping and some of the aftermath of that). It's freakin' phenomenal! I loved some of the additions as well, such as a scene with Wesley Dodds having dreams and taking up the mask as Sandman (vibing off SMT).
It's going to take a loooong while to get through all of the first part of the adaptation (and there is a part II), but it looks like it will be a fun ride.
