Looks like HBOmax is looking to bring John Constantine back to the small screen. Produced by J.J. Abrams and one of my favorite new writers Guy bolton the show is supposed to be a darker adaptation of Hellblazer with a focus on urban fantasy and body horror which is a great mix. I think my favorite element is who they have chosen for their lead: Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù. I know he doesn't look like Sting, but he showed some serious horror chops in His House and I loved him in Gangs Of London so I'm pretty excited to see him in this.
