Humble Bundle has just put up a big 53-book bundle of IDW's Transformers comics. Worth it? I'm asking as more a writing than an art guy (though obviously both would be nice).

imho, yes they are. The first group batch is average (but even that one has the Wrecker mini's), but once you get to Phase 2 (More than Meets the Eye, Till All Are One and Lost Light), I think they are very good sci-fi comics. Downside, you probably are going to need a reading guide next to it to figure out in what order to read the various series and mini-series.

I just assume I should read in publication order, and I can use Wikipedia for that.
