Congratulations to the winners and thank you to those who voted for my threads. I really want to acknowledge MWGallaher and his Hourman reviews. Fun, in-depth, and he just churns them out at a rate I can’t begin to match.

The Brother Power the Geek Award for Funniest Member
I'm pretty sure that it was mostly due to erroneous balloting... same thing happens in Chicago at every election.
Of course, I do have one reliable hardcore constituency... I can always rely on these folks to show up at the polls.

Is Supercat going to be drug tested?
I think it's pretty obvious that he's been juicing with pharmaceutical-grade catnip.

As an owner of the 80's hardcover collections of Barks' duck comics, your reviews have been something I always look forward to reading! Congratulations on a much-deserved honor!

Is Supercat going to be drug tested? Does supercat get a belt like a WWW style belt ? Well, there is this Triple Crown Championship belt...... Back in 1989, All-Japan Pro Wrestling had a match to unify their 3 top titles, The NWA International Hwt Championship, the NWA United National Hwt Championship and the Pacific Wrestling Federation Championship, to create the Triple Crown. The champion would come to the ring, carrying the 3 belts and also had a massive trophy, which represented his status as the "world champion." In 2013 they created this belt, which incorporates design elements from the 3 original belts. Now, for a CCF Triple Crown, I suggest a circular center plate, with the CCF logo, with the side plates depicting key comic book covers. Alternatively, we could have a giant honking belt, with comic scenes, ala the Mid-South North American Hwt Championship belt (from the mid-80s)... For a sense of scale, that is Magnum TA (Terry Allen), who stood about 6 ft 1 in. That belt was HUGE and legitimately weighed about 35 pounds! So, it could depict Treasury Edition comics on the plates! Or we could make it like the Japanese J-Crown, which united 8 titles...... That is Ultimo Dragon, who also simultaneously held those 8 title, plus the NWA Middleweight Championship (in Mexico) and the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, giving him 10 belts. So, we could have one for each of the majors and then for the bigger indies and foreign publishers! Or, we could stick with the banners.........

How on earth are you supposed to fit one of those through the loops on your pants? I guess this is why wrestlers only wear underwear.

How on earth are you supposed to fit one of those through the loops on your pants? I guess this is why wrestlers only wear underwear. Wrestlers wear BIG trousers! Rodeo cowboys are pretty jealous, though. Buckle envy! Funny enough, that gianormous gold belt that Ric Flair used to defend and is now used by the WWE was originally made for wrestler Nelson Royal, who had been the World Jr Heavyweight Champion and also competed in rodeo. He had the belt made by someone who crafted rodeo belt buckles. He sold it to promoter Jim Crockett, then had another belt made, which he used to use in other promotions, when he decided to get back into wrestling, after being retired for a few years. The Great Muta, the Japanese star who worked for WCW, in the late 80s/early 90s, booked himself to win the Triple Crown and the Double Tag Team titles and pretty much wore all of the belts like clothing.... I don't think the style will catch on..........
