Here it is....
Not surprised by much, as it was what I figured, when I first heard this was happening.
Pierce Brosnan as Dr Fate?
I don't think I am the audience for much of this stuff, anymore. I'm more interested in HBO's Irma Vep mini. I guess I gone too far back into the origins of modern comics; I find the ancestors more interesting than the descendants.

I don't feel like the "Rock" has the gravitas for Black Adam.

Marginally interested in seeing the film, but if it has any connections to that horrible Shazam film, that would give Black Adam negative marks.

Hm, so I take it no one here has seen the film?
I've been on the fence about seeing it, not so much with the members of the JSA present rather more with the Rock as Teth. There should be more to this portrayal than mere rage given form by mystical power.

There was a lot of violent action scenes. I loved Hawkman and Dr Fate. I would have preferred to see more of them. It was a decent action movie just not what I wanted to see involving these characters.

I enjoyed it. Rock did a good job as Adam, portraying him as the violent type of “hero” we have seen in the 2000s JSA books. I also enjoyed Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate and Hawkman was cool as well.

Kinda fun popcorn movie. I agree about Dr Fate and Hawkman. Shame it's probably the actor's only appearance as these characters given the upcoming changes under James Gunn. Atom Smasher and Cyclone also had good chemistry together. Loved the Henry Winkler cameo. 😂

Finally got around to watching this last night. Long story short, I enjoyed it well enough.

Well, it was certainly better than Shazam.
Has Cyclone appeared in the modern comics? I caught that her real name was a nod to the original Red Tornado.
I liked Doctor Fate a lot. Too bad about what happened...

Too bad about what happened... JSA, granddaughter or niece of Ma Hunkel. I believe she was a Geoff Johns creation, which tells you how she got in the movie.
