Sympathies to our much-loved former forum member Bert on the loss of his spouse, Nick. Bert was able to bring Nick home to spend his final hours where he wanted to be. May we all have a loved one to bring us to a place of comfort when our time comes.

Damn. I’m so sad for bert. Can’t imagine what’s he’s feeling and going through right now.
Not sure if he’ll see this, but I hope bert knows how much many of us love and care about him.

I know how hard Bert was working to advocate for Nick's care and how heavily all of this was weighing on them both. My full heart goes out to Bert. I've no doubt Nick's memory will be a blessing. |
