Michael Eury, editor of Back Issue, is terminally ill.

Michael Eury, who I’m sure you all know as editor of Back Issue and RetroFan, has posted on his FB page that he is terminally ill. He has Waldenström Macroglobulinemia Lymphoma, an extraordinarily rare cancer.
Don’t know what to add to that. I’m not sure how visible his post will be to those who don’t have a FB account (I’ve never been sure if non-FB members can view a FB member’s post).
He did say this:
I hope it was okay to share his personal anecdote, I hope I haven’t stepped on any privacy (I suspect the news may make it elsewhere). Whether he has months or years left, I wish him well. Those are beautiful words of his.

And thus I have a favor to ask of you: Please join me in spreading kindness. Ours is a society of too much division. We’ve become warring tribes, with Americans hating other Americans simply because we don’t share ideals. One thing we do share is: We’re all just trying to get through our day the best we can. We’ve been whipped into a hateful frenzy of distrust, when we should instead be looking to find the commonalities that bind us.
