Eisner's quintessential graphic novel is going to Broadway

Vivek Tiwary's TEG+ group will be adapting Will Eisner’s seminal graphic novel A CONTRACT WITH GOD into a Broadway musical with Sam Hollander as music producer.

Unless this somehow gets recorded and released on DVD/Blueray/streaming, I doubt I will ever get to see it, but I am intrigued.

Yes, those definitely seem like more logical choices for a musical. A play? Absolutely. But singing and dancing about how God has betrayed you, or about how that dashing young man just molested you in the woods, doesn't really seem like a natural fit.
