Nice! How many Planets do you have now? I know 1 guy on the CGC boards has nearly every FH book - how insane is that? I eventually also want a #34 and #41, just because the covers are killer. I do also like the #50, so be sure to post it. Also - Treasury editions are killer books! I've got a set myself. With #50, which arrived today, I now have 23 issues of Planet Comics, leaving 50 to go. Awesome copy! Congrats!!! Let me know if you locate a decent mid-grade 34 or 41 in your travels!

As promised, here are some pics. Kinda random what I decided to keep. These issues were all in real nice shape and had apps by characters I love (Spidey, Rhino, Guardians). There is also some books here featuring that all mysterious elf so I am excited to see what that is all about. Attachment DeletedA few more....Nazi Frankenstein? Had to keep Attachment Deleted

And here are the treasury books. Initially, I was going to sell them but they are just so cool and the market on them is all over the place (that Wonder Woman one in similar shape has gone for $5 to $25 or better). But I want them because they are something that I dont see ever and are all in decent shape....general wear but the covers are all there. There were a few others in rough shape so I passed on them but I think this haul is a worthy addition to the ole collection Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

I recently bought several bronze age, pre-COIE issues of Superman off of eBay. I got the package yesterday, and when I opened the box to inspect the issues, I noticed that several of them appeared to be the Canadian editions -- the price box in the upper right hand corner says all new, 75 cents, Canadian. The seller didn't mention this in the listing at all, but I'm curious if there are any differences in the Canadian vs. U.S. editions. The comics back then all had the U.S. and Canadian prices anyway, so why a separate edition that just had the Canadian price?
In case anyone is wondering, I don't care about the investment value since even the standard U.S. issues aren't particularly valuable. Just more of a curiosity factor.

For a grand total of $2.30 + tax I also picked up: Green Lantern #200 from '86 Atari Force 14 and 19 (never read any before) The Heckler 2, 4-6 (Just re-read Punx and started Video Jack, so this should go down well) Valor 5-7, 11-12, 15, 17-18, 21 Legion Worlds 1-5 (no 6 unfortunately) Power of the Atom 15 and 17 I'm out. I have some reading to do.

I finally pulled the trigger on a few items yesterday. Not quite comics, but very cool. Expect scans as soon as they arrive!

Is that Trinity series the Darkstars/Green Lantern just before Hal went crazy? I was hunting for that a bit ago, and it seemed hard to find. Let us know if it's good

The Ring of the Nibelung, as adapted by P. Craig Russel, just arrived in the mail today from Amazon. I absolutely cannot wait to start reading it, but I have a few other runs I'm forcing myself to finish first.

It's an amazing adaptation. I highly recommend his other opera translations as well.

Crossed over with L.E.G.I.O.N. '93 too. I had it years ago and gave the bookends away. I like it. Good trip back to old DC cosmic. Nothing ground breaking, but I had fun reading it again. I loved the Darkstars. They came on the scene right when I was starting college.

I'm really looking forward to it, especially after having just watched Fritz Lang's 1924 adaptation of the myth (which is not based on Wagner's opera). Should make for an interesting contrast.
