Nice haul, Icctrombone ! That's my kind of treasure haul! I'm still hunting several of those myself!

Ha, I got yelled at last time so I'm trying to look at regular trouser wearing people.

It's George Herriman's Krazy Kat Complete Color Sundays, 1935-1944. I tried a different image source. Hopefully that takes care of it. I have the Fantagraphics collections, but this looks like a lovely edition, I'm jealous! This material is such a delight, it's amazing as the strip progressed over the years how increasingly surreal it became, an absolute classic. I object to that cover. That's mailman abuse.

"When in doubt, deliver it."

I’m not getting hit by a brick by a mouse.

Ha, I got yelled at last time so I'm trying to look at regular trouser wearing people. Yeah, superheroes are my first and foremost love, too, but I've also been broadening by horizons.

Picked up the two The Sandman spin-off mini-series Death: The High Cost of Living and Death: The Time of Your Life for a very reasonable £15 including postage & packing. Death is one of my favourite characters from The Sandman, so I'm really looking forward to giving both of these a read. I'll likely review them for my Sandman review thread too.

A modern classic, if you're into independent comics. Graphik Muzik #1, second appearance of Frank Einstein (Madman)

I'm starting to head back more to collected editions, a couple I just picked up plus a lone back issue: First up, the big one (quite literally!)...Alex Raymond Flash Gordon and Jungle Jim collection. This is the second volume collecting 1936-1939, I have the first volume already and loved it. The intro content of these is fantastic too (see below). This one is out of print but I found a good seller who had a brand new shrink-wrapped copy at a very reasonable price and shipped quickly. Next up a public domain scans collection of the more obscure Golden Age character "The Web" published by MLJ in Zip Comics in the early 40's (and who would return later in the 60's as part of Archie's super-hero line, I actually was just reading a copy of Fly-Man with him in it). The green/yellow costume and arachnid theme just intrigued me. The content inside is pretty par for the course with the times. Finally, the awesome Fantastic Voyage cartoon in comic book form. The cover is lovely, but not a great reader to be honest. Another little shipment coming later today, a few more collected editions!

And part 2 that just showed up: I have never read Don Rosa era ducks before, just Carl Barks, so new territory for me here: Back to single issues, these are technically modern publication dates but homages to the Silver Age (thanks again dbutler69 for the recommendation on the Scooby/Legion team-up!). Black Widow issue is going in a frame.

Don't tell me they made Scobby Doo a Legion Member? That makes it 894 members in all.
