My latest pickups Sherlock Holmes (2009) 1-5, Dan Dare: Reign of the Robots, and three books by the fine folks at TwoMorrows. Hopefully the pic isn’t huge. I tried to link a thumbnail, but I’m on my phone. That Grell book is great, I got it last month for my birthday. The Dingbat love is also pretty good.

My wife is constantly...CONSTANTLY... trying to get me to eat Brussel sprouts. I have to keep telling her "I'm 53 years old. I've tried them." That's spousal abuse in my book! Yuck!

I'm honestly curious...do you only read one genre of prose? Watch one genre of TV or movies? Listen to one genre of music? I think he just knows his sweet spot. My wife is constantly...CONSTANTLY... trying to get me to eat Brussel sprouts. I have to keep telling her "I'm 53 years old. I've tried them." Thanks. Us “bones” have to stick together.

This one took 60 days! Domestic shipping is usually about three days, but this seller from todocoleccion is the worst I've seen: I already had a copy, but I had ordered the one above first and when the seller finally resurfaced I couldn't resist getting it for 15€ (postage included). Damn. Captain America be crazy. What was crazy about that, was that he trusted Sersi. Don't get me wrong, Gruenwald wrote her better than anyone, I loved every panel with her in it throughout his run, but confidence isn't something she inspired.

You "bones" just haven't had Brsselsprouts cooked up properly. Grandma from Oklahoma did 'em up right. Soften up in a seasoned boil, then finish off with a toss into a fry pan with bacon and bacon grease to give that quick crisping/browning.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm bacon sprouts rule!

From the recent Taschen flash sale. It's a behemoth (approximately 12 x 17 and 600+ pages) and the strips are reproduced beautifully.

What is it? All I see is a grey rectangle. It's the most avant-garde comic yet: 600 pages of enormous gray rectangles. Hey, it's from Germany!

What is it? All I see is a grey rectangle. I suspect it's because of those blue goggles you're wearing.

What is it? All I see is a grey rectangle. It's George Herriman's Krazy Kat Complete Color Sundays, 1935-1944. I tried a different image source. Hopefully that takes care of it.

I have the Fantagraphics collections, but this looks like a lovely edition, I'm jealous! This material is such a delight, it's amazing as the strip progressed over the years how increasingly surreal it became, an absolute classic.
