What did you pay for the three books ? It was $3 a book plus shipping. -M Not bad. Anything lower than the price of a current book is a bargain.

Full set of The Human Fly 1-19 plus a couple extra copies. This is another one of those sets that were safely bundled away for years, with minimal handling...so in great shape. Got a great deal on the full run....poor guy still gets treated like a nobody and hasn't got the love (yet) given to the likes of Nova, She-Hulk etc, but I'm there for him...

I suspected you had a " thing" for the Human Fly. It's so cool to see a picture of an entire series.

I've thought about getting this run just because it's such a quintessential 70's title...plus it must be very affordable.

Went to a show in New Jersey 2 dollar books: strange that I have no recollection of the OSS comics since I was buying every DC war comic I could lay my hands on at the time... the only reason I can think is that the local drugstore - which carried all the comics in our very small New England town - didn't stock it... I do seem to remember OSS being in some other DC title (maybe GI Combat) but not its own title... color me intrigued! I'm going to have to hunt down some issues on ebay! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

What attracted me was the Joe Kubert clown cover.

I swear, the last thing I'd ever thought you'd buy is Thunder Bunny.
World is full of surprises.

Hahahaha. I have been more curious the last few years at the urging of the members here. I plan to read who’s killing the children because of what you said a while ago.

Ha, I'm not against bunnies or rabbit characters , just that Star Wars one. I'm looking at you Confessor . Also, I thought that comic was Thunder Bunny's first apearrance. It's not.

What attracted me was the Joe Kubert clown cover. The foreground/background suspense situation is classic Kubert of that era.
I've been picking up those Archie Bats (and Madhouse) when I see them cheap. They're a lot of fun and loaded w/ good cartooning.

I was going through some dollar bins this weekend, and Icctrombone inspired me to buy a Youngblood #3 with the first appearance of Supreme. Easy street, here I come!!
