I was going through some dollar bins this weekend, and Icctrombone inspired me to buy a Youngblood #3 with the first appearance of Supreme. Easy street, here I come!! I was lucky enough to find this today for 20 cents.

More pick ups. I went to a store called Zapp comics in NJ and got these to make the Deathstroke count to just needing 4 to complete the series.

Full set of The Human Fly 1-19 plus a couple extra copies. This is another one of those sets that were safely bundled away for years, with minimal handling...so in great shape. Got a great deal on the full run....poor guy still gets treated like a nobody and hasn't got the love (yet) given to the likes of Nova, She-Hulk etc, but I'm there for him...
I guess that makes you...Spider-Woman.

More Image books for 20 cents each.
I really hate to see you over-pay for books... but hey, it's only money.

I really hate to see you over-pay for books... but hey, it's only money. Ha. But on a somewhat serious note, gathering all those 90's books are a low risk adventure. No one really know what the next big comic project will be. We are 30 years removed from those books and the people that were buying them could be in positions where they could want to make movies and streaming shows about them. I am getting these books dirt cheap. It's a low risk venture.

Besides, if you have a soft spot for it, what's the harm? "Collect what you like" has always been my motto.
Now you can make fun of the Binky and Scooter books in my collection.

With the exception of Supreme which I enjoyed when it first came out, the other Liefeld books didn't hold together as story arcs. I hope to revisit it to see if it's better than I thought. Anyway I am paying less than 75 cents an issue for these books, no real harm.

So went to the Flea Market today for the first time in six or seven years to just see what was there. I hadn't been back since the old comic book store that was in there for decades (appropriately named "Flea Market Comics") shut down due to the owner's (Steve) untimely death. In it's place, I found Legendary Comics, which mostly deals in back issues and not much newer stuff. The owners (husband and wife duo) were friends of Steve and even hung up a plaque in his memory, which I very much enjoyed Bought SOOOO many issues of Wetworks there (I blame the "two for a dollar" sale they were having), so much that I didn't even notice that I had accidentally bought a second issue of #4 (bought #1,#3-#9, #11-#13, #15, #20-#23) Here's some odds and ends that I couldn't say "no" to Also when I first got there, there was a table set up with a bunch of collections of DC Showcase & Marvel Essentials, but the Archive Edition of Plastic Man caught my eye and went home with me. Certainly couldn't say "no" for $5
