CBG has lost a lot off its fastball, so I don't really see the difference in this brand.

Treated myself to a nice graded book, even though I have a beat up copy. Let's get dangerous!

CBG has lost a lot off its fastball, so I don't really see the difference in this brand. I won't argue CGC has had its issues, but to continue your metaphor PGX was a junkballer who never had a fastball to begin with and would be lucky to pitch for an independent league but had delusions of grandeur that they were a Cy Young candidate. -M

I wouldn’t know. So the resell of these pgx books are poor ?

I wouldn’t know. So the resell of these pgx books are poor ? They are not well regarded and often do not get the ROI that CGC or CBSC do. -M

Last purchases for 2022! Some favorites include the Doom Patrol issue which I bought for the Sea Devils appearance. That one's a doozy.

Years ago, I bought Avengers #21 through #23. I had Marvel Masterworks for the first 20 issues of Avengers and, since the original floppies were affordable, I kept going, thinking it would be neat to have a few original 1966 Avengers comics. And then I got sidetracked. It didn’t seem urgent to get number 24 because I have the issue of Marvel Triple Action that reprints that one.
Through reprint volumes from the library, I’ve read every issue of the Avengers from that time period, And I think Avengers #25 is one of the worst Dr. Doom appearances ever. So I don’t really want that one.
But I was thinking today what I could get myself for Christmas, something in the right price range, something that I’ve wanted for a while. And I went on eBay and found Avengers #24 for $30.
So I should have that in a few days. The two-part story in Avengers #23 and #24 is one of my favorite Kang stories. It’ll be nice to have the two original issues.

I am enjoying the Celebrated Cases of Dick Tracy so much that I went on eBay and found the DC Limited Collectors Edition that features Dick Tracy. It was an auction 20 minutes from being over! And no one had bid on it! So I got it for $8!

And no one had bid on it! So I got it for $8! Nice pick up. In Celebrated Cases the Flattop story is incomplete, but the DC reprint has the complete story, plus it's also fully colorized, which not only looks great but makes it feel even more like a 40s Batman comic
